Tata Motors Ltd is an Indian automobile company which was founded back in 1945. They mostly concentrate on commercial vehicle and for Bangladesh they have a line up of 3 passengers cars which I will discuss in this article.

Tata Tiago: It is a small hatchback from the company. Priced at 15 lac the car feature a 1200 cc 3 cylinders petrol engine which produce 83 BHP @ 6000 RPM & 114 NM of Torque @ 3500 RPM. The car has a 5 speed manual gearbox.

Dispite being a hatchback the car has a bootspace of 242 litres & 175/65 R14 tyre size. The car can carry 35 litres fuel in it’s tank. It has disc brake with the front two wheels while the rear two wheels has drum brakes.

Front suspensions are independent lower wishbone while the rear suspensions are twist beam with spring coil mounted on hydraulic shock absorbers. The car has a weight os 1017 kg.

Tata Nexon: Back on 2nd Indo Bangla Automotive Show, a compact SUV. In Bangladesh you can have Nexon with the options of a 1200 cc 3 cylinders petrol engine or 1500 cc 4 cylinders diesel engine. Both the engines produces the same amount of horsepower but where the petrol engine only produces 170 NM Torque where the diesel engine produces another 90 NM torque more.

Nexon has a 6 speed gearbox manual gearbox with an option to drive it in automatic as well. It also has multi drive mode with ECO, CITY & SPORTS mode.

The compact SUV has a 360 litre boot space with automatic climate control, ABS with EBD, reverse parking assist, 195/60. R16 tyres. The car has a 209 mm ground clearance, 44 litres fuel tank, disc brakes at front with drum brakes on the rear. The car has the same suspensions setup like you can find in Tata Tiago.

Tata Nexon has a price of 24.90 lac (petrol version) & 25.90 lac (diesel version).

Tata Indigo eCS: this is a sedan car from the brand with a twist & that is it only comes in Bangladesh with a 1400cc diesel engine. The engine produces 68 BHP & 135 NM of Torque and it is fitted with a 5 speed manual gearbox.

The car has a luggage space of 380 litres with a 43 litres fuel tank. The car has a ground clearance of 165 mm with 175/65, R14 size tyres. Price of Tata IndigoeCS is 15.25 lac.
