For the first time Star Cineplex hosted the screening of Formula 1 in Bangladesh. They hosted the final Grand Prix, the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at their SKS Tower branch @ Moakhali.

They started the event at Formula 1 Fans Of Bangladesh some 5 days before the start of the GP. Ticket price were 400 BDT for the race with a beverage & pop corn. In the many screening happened at cafe or restaurants but this time it happened at a movie hall.

Come raceday some 100 + F1 fans turned out. They lets you enter the hall some 10 min before the start of the warmup lap.

They used the Star Sports feed through Askash digital to telecast the race. I was happy with the pixel quality of the screening but I think the colour & contrast of the screen was an issue but the biggest problem which I think was there were the advertisement break.

During the 90 min race there were 7-8 breaks, each on average took 1 min. So if this problem can be sorted out in the near future & some more advertisement I think this will get more popular.
