Deciding on the world’s best car brand is never going to be an easy job. There are so many great companies out there, each producing some very impressive cars, but there can only be one winner and this year it’s Mazda.
Consumer Reports has labelled Mazda (7 models tested) as being is most recommended brand and it isn’t hard to see why. It has a wide range of models, is dipping its toes into electric cars, they offer great value for money and they are built well. What more could you possibly want?
It topped the list of 32 different car manufacturers it was up against which include Tesla, Genesis, Lexus, Porsche, Toyota, Chrysler, Buick, Hyundai etc.
Out of the others on the list, BMW came second with 12 models tested, and scored high in road tests along with Subaru and Porsche. Honda rose from tenth place in 2020 to fifth in 2021, with eight of its ten vehicles being recommended.
Unfortunately, Hyundai dropped three places from 2020, while Buick and Chrysler jumped into the top ten. Some other bad news includes Tesla which has dropped five places down to 16th. Kia lost ten spots to land in 19th, Lincoln drops 15 places into 28th out of 32.
And to top it all off, Alfa Romeo sits at the bottom of Cosumer Report’s list of cars…sorry Alfa.
